What we collect

When you buy from us we receive the information the payment processor collects to complete the transaction: your name, billing address, email address, and the payment method token. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Counts on the demo page

The product page has a short demonstration you can click. We record two things about it: that it was started, and that it was finished. Each record is a single counter for the day, holding the event name, the date, and how many times it happened. There is no row per visitor, no session identifier, no browser or device string, no referring page, and no cookie of any kind. Nothing you type or upload is involved, because the demonstration reads a fixed sample invoice that ships with the page.

To stop a script from inflating the counts, we keep a rate limit of 300 events per source per day. That limit needs to tell one source from another, so we compute a SHA-256 hash of the source address, keep the first 16 characters of it, and store only that string for 24 hours before it expires. The address itself is never written anywhere. To be plain about what that hash is and is not: it is not anonymisation. The whole IPv4 address space is only 2^32 values, so a hash of an address can be reversed by anyone who tries all of them. It is there so the raw address is not sitting in our storage, and for no other purpose.

Waitlist email

On the InvoiceLens page you can leave an email address to be told once, on the day that product ships. That address is stored as a single record and used for that one notification and nothing else: no newsletter, no follow-up sequence, no sharing with anyone. Write to the address below at any time and we delete it.

What we do with it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

Third parties

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and is the legal seller on every transaction. Your payment data passes through them. They also handle tax calculation, collection, and remittance.

Retention

We keep transaction records for as long as tax law requires, and support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the matter.

Your rights

Write to us at the address below to request a copy of your data, or to ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
